I have been having severe pain on the left side of my mouth upper gums for about six month now. The pain is sharp and radiates down my neck and towards the back of my head.
I went to have a MRI of the head and have been back and forth to the doctor and nothing was found. I was diagnosed with ear infection and sinus infection and just knew this would help with the pain in my head but it didn’t. The pain in my head and at a certain site where my dentures sit was so bad last Monday I went to Aspen dental and they did an X-ray and there was a bone fragment in the area in my mouth that is very tender and now has a lump.
When I got these dentures over a year ago they did an X-ray and did not mention the bone fragment and the new dentures have a lump right at the site where the bone fragment is.
I can’t help but wonder why they didn’t see the fragment when they had me doing an X-ray before they made me new dentures.
The dentist at Aspen was great, my mouth is so tender and the feeling is coming back in my mouth and I feel it could have been avoided when Affordable took xrays before making new dentures. I went back on numerous occasions explaining how the dentures were hurting my mouth and they would realign then but they were still uncomfortable in the area of my mouth where the bone was.
